A Life Like This

A documentary portrait highlighting the lived experiences and creative work of four outsider artists working and living with disability in Central Pennsylvania. A LIFE LIKE THIS delves into the personal stories of Malcolm Corley, Adam Musser, Sybil Roe Thompson and David Nolt, who create without pretension or boundaries to communicate and express the myriad ways art shapes and impacts their lives. Many artists with physical and mental disabilities consistently face discrimination, inequity, and underexposure at both local and national levels. This film aims to de-stigmatize this underrepresented demographic of artists while lifting up the beauty and value of their art.
