Unai

In 2016, Okinawa residents discover their tap water contaminated with PFAS, traced to US military bases, affecting 450,000 people. At the center is Yumi Nakasone, who unknowingly fed her infant poisoned water, then ran for and won local office and took the fight to the United Nations. The film connects Okinawa to parallel PFAS crises in the US and Italy.
