00:00:49.872 --> 00:00:52.440
Dirtjump is a category
00:00:53.251 --> 00:00:54.648
in which you jump
on a dirt course,
00:00:55.258 --> 00:00:58.418
with different distances,
in different styles,
00:00:58.607 --> 00:01:01.548
Dirt is like
a more educated category.
00:01:02.464 --> 00:01:03.788
Is nobler.
00:01:04.327 --> 00:01:07.248
Because you teach people,
00:01:07.443 --> 00:01:09.200
you learn from them,
00:01:09.570 --> 00:01:12.097
you share with everyone
who comes to the course
00:01:12.341 --> 00:01:14.079
to maintain the beauty
of the place.
00:01:28.919 --> 00:01:31.455
I've been riding
for 7 years.
00:01:31.886 --> 00:01:35.077
A friend of mine introduced me
to BMX when we were at school.
00:01:35.968 --> 00:01:39.459
I found very fascinating
what he did on the bike,
00:01:40.744 --> 00:01:43.661
and I asked myself
if I'd be able to do it as well,
00:01:44.313 --> 00:01:47.014
so I decided to try it,
and kept going, and so on...
00:01:47.362 --> 00:01:49.900
I've never identified myself
with anything else.
00:01:49.995 --> 00:01:52.339
I'm always happy
when I ride a bike.
00:01:52.666 --> 00:01:54.786
When I played soccer
or did other things
00:01:54.899 --> 00:01:57.110
I felt bored.
I felt it wasn't my thing.
00:01:57.413 --> 00:02:00.559
So I started
jumping on the street,
00:02:00.725 --> 00:02:02.543
sliding through the sidewalk,
that sort of things,
00:02:02.683 --> 00:02:04.794
until one day I went
to a dirt course,
00:02:04.871 --> 00:02:06.351
to make dirt jumps,
00:02:06.405 --> 00:02:08.748
and it encouraged me
to start riding and jumping
00:02:09.178 --> 00:02:10.702
as a lifestyle.
00:02:41.120 --> 00:02:45.120
I've made a lot of friends
in all Latin America riding bike.
00:02:45.501 --> 00:02:48.617
And it started
just like that.
00:02:49.623 --> 00:02:52.771
I friend of mine told me: 'Let's travel
to a tournament in another city. '
00:02:53.146 --> 00:02:56.494
And I loved to interact
with new people
00:02:56.680 --> 00:03:00.279
and I noticed that most people
who ride bikes
00:03:00.605 --> 00:03:03.449
are humble,
polite people...
00:03:04.766 --> 00:03:08.021
And I also love
knowing new places.
00:03:08.462 --> 00:03:11.645
Things that people maybe can see,
but won't notice.
00:03:43.139 --> 00:03:45.528
It was a very symbolic
tournament
00:03:45.671 --> 00:03:48.983
because it was a King of the Dirt,
one of the best they have in Colombia.
00:03:49.473 --> 00:03:52.210
And my frame was damaged,
00:03:52.392 --> 00:03:55.962
and I wanted so much to ride
that I didn't care,
00:03:56.077 --> 00:03:57.742
and I kept riding,
00:03:57.895 --> 00:03:59.919
and I competed
with the pros.
00:04:00.074 --> 00:04:02.555
I didn't win anything,
nor classified,
00:04:02.724 --> 00:04:04.607
but I competed with them.
00:04:04.771 --> 00:04:07.995
And that encouraged me
to become a professional,
00:04:08.287 --> 00:04:11.843
and don't get stucked
in the amateur classes.
00:04:12.356 --> 00:04:14.194
To progress.
And keep on going.
00:04:14.376 --> 00:04:17.323
I've always seen fear
as an obstacle.
00:04:17.533 --> 00:04:19.278
I've always had this fear,
00:04:19.446 --> 00:04:22.361
and I know the risks
I'm taking when I get on my bike.
00:04:22.512 --> 00:04:25.642
I can fall,
break a bone.
00:04:25.809 --> 00:04:28.571
These fears
of what may happen
00:04:29.396 --> 00:04:31.407
have never stopped me
from doing what I want.
00:04:42.156 --> 00:04:44.987
A dirt course is
like a temple for us,
00:04:45.098 --> 00:04:47.345
because this is where
we spend most of our time.
00:04:48.112 --> 00:04:52.220
This is where we share
with a lot of people.
00:04:53.940 --> 00:04:56.120
It's practically like my home.
00:04:56.381 --> 00:04:59.103
I like to keep it clean,
00:04:59.354 --> 00:05:02.382
I like it to be in good conditions,
so if I want to ride,
00:05:02.551 --> 00:05:03.964
I find the course
in good conditions.
00:05:04.706 --> 00:05:07.616
In the countries
where I have been,
00:05:08.081 --> 00:05:10.848
there are similarities
among the people.
00:05:11.465 --> 00:05:15.646
I've seen groups of people
00:05:16.213 --> 00:05:18.336
organized to succeed,
to build new courses,
00:05:18.371 --> 00:05:19.939
there's people who
struggle to have new courses.
00:05:20.853 --> 00:05:22.597
I've seen it in Argentina,
00:05:23.107 --> 00:05:27.048
I've seen it here.
It's a real struggle with the government.
00:05:27.713 --> 00:05:29.758
But they don't understand
00:05:29.989 --> 00:05:32.016
the beauty of this sport.
00:05:32.855 --> 00:05:35.385
It's very beautiful,
because people,
00:05:35.791 --> 00:05:38.665
no matter how hard it's been for them,
they always want to help people.
00:05:46.206 --> 00:05:49.275
I went on a journey,
without knowing
00:05:49.491 --> 00:05:50.827
if I was going
to accomplish anything.
00:05:51.077 --> 00:05:54.705
I just went out and arrived to Ecuador,
where I won a tournament.
00:05:55.737 --> 00:05:59.318
I went to the beach,
then I went back for another tournament,
00:05:59.413 --> 00:06:02.522
and there I met some friends
who were coming to a contest in Argentina.
00:06:03.198 --> 00:06:05.214
And, it's very hard,
to tell you the truth,
00:06:05.390 --> 00:06:08.684
because no one supports us.
Nor the State,
00:06:09.129 --> 00:06:13.881
nor the brands.
I've gone to the local government,
00:06:14.039 --> 00:06:18.325
but they tell me that I must create a club,
when this is a individual sport.
00:06:18.873 --> 00:06:20.323
So, the truth is...
00:06:20.755 --> 00:06:23.477
The most part depends on you,
to want to go out,
00:06:23.948 --> 00:06:26.221
to became known as a pro.
00:06:26.440 --> 00:06:28.161
That's what drives you.
00:06:28.624 --> 00:06:31.391
It doesn't matter
if you don't get any support.
00:06:33.406 --> 00:06:37.131
It's tiresome, and very annoying.
But I don't give up.
00:06:37.500 --> 00:06:40.065
Because, if I'm already here
without their help,
00:06:40.429 --> 00:06:42.527
I can get further away.
00:06:44.238 --> 00:06:48.066
It'd be nice to be supported,
beacause it's good to be helped.
00:06:49.420 --> 00:06:51.187
Help is always good,
00:06:52.358 --> 00:06:55.044
but if they don't help us,
what are we going to do?
00:06:55.335 --> 00:06:57.470
we keep going
by our own means.
00:07:02.143 --> 00:07:05.044
We decided to travel,
00:07:05.487 --> 00:07:06.991
to go out there
and represent,
00:07:08.098 --> 00:07:12.479
mostly, to leave a mark,
in the name of our country.
00:07:13.332 --> 00:07:16.132
That's where I live,
that's where my family lives,
00:07:16.665 --> 00:07:20.463
I always have this in mind
when I go out to compete.
00:07:21.169 --> 00:07:23.141
Where I live,
where am I from,
00:07:23.337 --> 00:07:25.169
I never forget
who I am.
00:08:00.892 --> 00:08:03.599
WE'LL BE BACK
00:08:05.010 --> 00:08:08.650
WE'RE BACK
00:08:15.570 --> 00:08:17.690
Parkour is the art of movement.
00:08:18.008 --> 00:08:22.215
In which a person,
by training and knowing its own body
00:08:22.898 --> 00:08:24.755
can overcome any obstacle,
00:08:25.082 --> 00:08:26.969
going from an initial point
to another point.
00:08:27.145 --> 00:08:30.852
I don't know if the final point,
but another point.
00:08:31.068 --> 00:08:32.936
To be able to move,
and overcome it,
00:08:33.381 --> 00:08:36.654
and to find
a new way of moving,
00:08:36.689 --> 00:08:38.411
a new way of thinking,
00:08:38.542 --> 00:08:40.458
a new way to adapt yourself,
00:08:41.870 --> 00:08:43.826
a new way of feeling.
00:08:46.954 --> 00:08:48.895
I started doing parkour
8 years ago.
00:08:49.437 --> 00:08:51.264
With a group of friends that I had,
00:08:51.439 --> 00:08:56.101
and with whom since we were
4 years old until we were 15,
00:08:57.129 --> 00:08:59.433
we played different
urban sports,
00:08:59.592 --> 00:09:01.841
trying them all out,
skate, roller, bike.
00:09:02.710 --> 00:09:04.918
One day, a friend
showed us a video.
00:09:05.055 --> 00:09:08.200
We went to a cybercafe
and we saw a video of parkour, from Russia.
00:09:08.984 --> 00:09:10.505
We found it awesome,
00:09:10.663 --> 00:09:12.952
we didn't understand
what was that,
00:09:13.588 --> 00:09:16.977
and we went immediatly back to the park
and reproduced it,
00:09:17.822 --> 00:09:21.271
trying to remember what they did.
We were very straight forward.
00:09:21.917 --> 00:09:24.907
We were trying to imitate the techniques,
in a self-taught manner.
00:09:32.865 --> 00:09:35.573
When I started, there were
many traceurs
00:09:36.237 --> 00:09:37.971
in Buenos Aires.
00:09:38.114 --> 00:09:40.067
I entered the community
step by step,
00:09:40.200 --> 00:09:43.369
going to the meetings
and open trainings they had,
00:09:43.836 --> 00:09:46.158
in a particular park.
Parque Chacabuco,
00:09:46.400 --> 00:09:50.270
where traceurs from
different neighborhoods met,
00:09:50.687 --> 00:09:52.323
on Saturday,
00:09:52.482 --> 00:09:53.934
and this way
I began learning.
00:09:54.080 --> 00:09:57.423
Some time later, when I began
to go to provincial gatherings,
00:09:57.785 --> 00:10:01.072
or national gatherings,
at Rosario or La Plata,
00:10:01.503 --> 00:10:04.642
I noticed how big
this community was,
00:10:05.175 --> 00:10:06.954
and how it evolved.
00:10:07.089 --> 00:10:09.916
How new people joined us
through time,
00:10:10.068 --> 00:10:13.284
how people also leaved us,
through time.
00:10:13.451 --> 00:10:16.958
So I was submerged
in people,
00:10:17.191 --> 00:10:19.819
absorbing their knowledge,
00:10:19.988 --> 00:10:23.213
and giving back mine, as well,
to these people.
00:10:23.363 --> 00:10:24.902
And I feel that,
nowadays,
00:10:25.112 --> 00:10:28.601
this is a very broad
community.
00:10:29.532 --> 00:10:31.611
In every aspect.
00:10:31.771 --> 00:10:33.520
The amount of people,
00:10:33.839 --> 00:10:35.522
age span...
00:10:35.673 --> 00:10:37.925
There's a lot of children
who are starting
00:10:38.404 --> 00:10:39.962
in other places,
00:10:40.096 --> 00:10:41.916
through open workshops,
00:10:42.030 --> 00:10:45.871
That's a good thing that's been going on
for a couple of years now.
00:10:46.376 --> 00:10:49.230
The more experienced traceurs
00:10:49.813 --> 00:10:52.437
are starting to teach.
00:10:52.623 --> 00:10:55.700
And thanks to that
there's a lot more of sharing.
00:11:00.548 --> 00:11:01.854
With the years,
00:11:02.245 --> 00:11:05.229
I noticed it was somehow
natural in me
00:11:05.400 --> 00:11:08.122
to be able to see
a technique
00:11:08.419 --> 00:11:10.237
and correct it,
00:11:10.412 --> 00:11:12.883
to the point that I thought:
00:11:13.217 --> 00:11:15.821
'I want to share this ability
00:11:15.959 --> 00:11:18.977
'with people who don't know'.
00:11:19.421 --> 00:11:21.743
Because it's something that
00:11:22.109 --> 00:11:24.637
made me very happy
00:11:24.900 --> 00:11:29.218
and I wanted to share
this happiness.
00:11:29.408 --> 00:11:31.421
If the other one accepts it,
00:11:31.597 --> 00:11:33.075
I know it'll be good for it.
00:11:46.624 --> 00:11:49.779
I played soccer
before doing parkour.
00:11:50.415 --> 00:11:54.404
And I've noticed there's something
I never found in soccer.
00:11:55.213 --> 00:11:56.949
It's a much more
personal thing.
00:11:57.596 --> 00:12:01.085
You don't have a coach
to tell you what to do,
00:12:01.501 --> 00:12:03.780
there's more freedom.
00:12:04.010 --> 00:12:06.233
I noticed that, in time,
00:12:06.692 --> 00:12:09.143
you have the freedom
to do what you want.
00:12:09.474 --> 00:12:10.738
Finding
00:12:11.687 --> 00:12:14.031
a sense of comradeship,
00:12:14.301 --> 00:12:15.672
of community,
00:12:15.947 --> 00:12:17.716
of self-improvement...
00:12:18.326 --> 00:12:20.213
and also of
caring for your body,
00:12:21.154 --> 00:12:23.187
of being conscious,
00:12:23.377 --> 00:12:26.897
and knowing it's our movement tool,
and that we must care for it.
00:12:27.242 --> 00:12:28.885
Even if you don't practice parkour,
00:12:28.978 --> 00:12:32.918
it's a good thing
to feel good with your body,
00:12:32.993 --> 00:12:36.163
to be able
for any situation,
00:12:36.373 --> 00:12:38.201
because parkour is also
about that,
00:12:38.372 --> 00:12:42.311
to be able,
and have an useful body.
00:12:43.591 --> 00:12:44.535
Resilence.
00:12:44.654 --> 00:12:48.196
Resilence is the ability
of a person to stand up after failing
00:12:48.585 --> 00:12:50.723
and carry on.
00:12:51.178 --> 00:12:53.342
I think that's also very important,
00:12:53.764 --> 00:12:57.264
because sometimes
things happen in life,
00:12:57.299 --> 00:12:59.320
there are obstacles
in our way,
00:12:59.455 --> 00:13:00.934
physical or mental,
00:13:01.222 --> 00:13:03.872
and it's in the power
of your will
00:13:04.369 --> 00:13:07.458
to be able
to break that barrier
00:13:07.493 --> 00:13:09.114
or to overcome
this obstacle.
00:13:09.591 --> 00:13:12.358
To continue
even when you fall,
00:13:13.526 --> 00:13:15.008
to get out of your
comfort zone.
00:13:15.135 --> 00:13:17.134
You'll also find many times
in parkour
00:13:17.524 --> 00:13:20.778
a very powerful feeling,
to get out of that security zone,
00:13:21.497 --> 00:13:23.752
of this place where your confident
in that you can do anything,
00:13:23.899 --> 00:13:26.793
and to be in a place
where you feel fear,
00:13:27.660 --> 00:13:29.871
you are trembling,
sweating,
00:13:30.172 --> 00:13:33.961
and suddenly you break this feeling
and you overcome it.
00:13:45.838 --> 00:13:48.691
I started
complementing parkour
00:13:48.922 --> 00:13:50.935
to keep moving my body.
00:13:51.129 --> 00:13:53.143
I started just moving myself
00:13:53.508 --> 00:13:54.954
with these abilities,
00:13:55.367 --> 00:13:58.049
and then,
about six years later,
00:13:59.005 --> 00:14:02.131
going to events,
I started relating
00:14:02.262 --> 00:14:03.834
to other people who dance,
00:14:04.240 --> 00:14:07.674
I was very connected
with the urban culture,
00:14:08.532 --> 00:14:09.957
with hip-hop,
00:14:10.115 --> 00:14:12.986
And by its own means,
parkourt had made me already
00:14:13.681 --> 00:14:15.451
to love movement.
00:14:16.043 --> 00:14:17.734
And as I also loved music,
00:14:18.129 --> 00:14:21.457
I started to take it
to that place.
00:14:22.044 --> 00:14:24.678
And as years went by,
00:14:25.228 --> 00:14:27.220
I complemented it,
00:14:27.566 --> 00:14:30.925
because it wasn't
the typical parkour anymore,
00:14:31.118 --> 00:14:33.939
it became some sort of game,
00:14:34.077 --> 00:14:35.814
and a form of corporal expression.
00:14:36.409 --> 00:14:38.590
This language, this crawling
00:14:38.889 --> 00:14:41.570
was already present in another dances.
In contemporary dance,
00:14:42.101 --> 00:14:44.816
in break dance
they are also
00:14:45.491 --> 00:14:47.590
resting their hands
on the ground.
00:14:49.604 --> 00:14:51.963
It's a language present at all times.
It's movement.
00:14:53.076 --> 00:14:54.899
And I mixed this,
00:14:55.386 --> 00:14:57.062
2 years ago,
00:14:57.372 --> 00:14:59.827
in this company that merges
00:15:00.289 --> 00:15:02.893
contemporary dance,
hiphop, and parkour.
00:15:03.330 --> 00:15:06.563
And attempts
to show this
00:15:07.333 --> 00:15:09.147
to people.
00:15:21.825 --> 00:15:26.394
I think that parkour
expresses
00:15:26.796 --> 00:15:28.498
constant movement.
00:15:29.053 --> 00:15:31.186
Something that can't stay still
in it's place,
00:15:31.729 --> 00:15:33.931
and has to move.
00:15:34.176 --> 00:15:35.867
It can't be static,
00:15:36.175 --> 00:15:39.163
it has to be always
in constant movement.
00:15:40.057 --> 00:15:41.940
And it's a link
00:15:42.319 --> 00:15:44.948
that became my life.
00:15:45.421 --> 00:15:47.547
Basically, I'm parkour.
00:15:47.802 --> 00:15:50.253
I feel that my life is parkour,
00:15:50.660 --> 00:15:52.579
I am parkour,
I'm the leap,
00:15:53.178 --> 00:15:56.272
and it's something
that makes you want to carry on.
00:16:08.000 --> 00:16:10.733
WE'LL BE BACK
00:16:13.063 --> 00:16:15.978
WE'RE BACK
00:16:50.202 --> 00:16:51.889
BMX is about
00:16:52.165 --> 00:16:55.777
doing the greatest amount
of tricks
00:16:56.687 --> 00:16:58.449
in the air,
or on the ground,
00:16:58.639 --> 00:17:01.642
or wherever you want.
That's why it's called BMX freestyle.
00:17:01.898 --> 00:17:03.545
Because it's
a free style.
00:17:03.917 --> 00:17:05.878
And you can create
whatever you want.
00:17:08.372 --> 00:17:12.170
I feel different.
00:17:12.330 --> 00:17:15.495
When I ride my bike and put
my headphones on, I'm a different person.
00:17:28.929 --> 00:17:31.762
I have a friend in particular
who helped me a lot.
00:17:32.049 --> 00:17:34.799
He went to ask my parents
if I could go out,
00:17:35.787 --> 00:17:38.195
to go to know the Bustamante,
in this case.
00:17:38.775 --> 00:17:43.060
And that's how I started going
to Bustamante. I met new people there.
00:17:44.149 --> 00:17:47.872
When I was a kid,
I sucked at freestyling.
00:17:48.553 --> 00:17:50.531
Until one day
00:17:50.851 --> 00:17:53.485
I went to do 'street',
as they call it.
00:17:53.847 --> 00:17:56.483
to Gorostiaga Park,
which we didn't know.
00:17:56.776 --> 00:17:58.845
And my friends didn't went in,
because they didn't like ramps.
00:17:58.880 --> 00:18:00.246
They only did street.
00:18:00.300 --> 00:18:03.287
And I was amazed
with the ramps.
00:18:03.687 --> 00:18:08.330
From that moment onwards,
I decided go to ride everyday in that park.
00:18:08.553 --> 00:18:10.339
That's where I saw
my first backflip,
00:18:10.458 --> 00:18:12.021
my first superman,
00:18:12.186 --> 00:18:13.840
and I said:
'I want to be like them'.
00:18:31.212 --> 00:18:33.898
For me, the Bustamante Park
was full of skaters,
00:18:34.373 --> 00:18:36.674
and I was scared
of going in with my bike, at first,
00:18:36.989 --> 00:18:38.632
until someone told me it was ok,
00:18:38.768 --> 00:18:42.164
but I was a kid,
and I arrived and sat to see
00:18:42.350 --> 00:18:43.952
how everyone else rode.
00:18:44.234 --> 00:18:47.023
I was very shy,
00:18:47.268 --> 00:18:49.215
I went in one, or two times,
00:18:49.331 --> 00:18:51.845
then I started going earlier,
when it was empty,
00:18:52.030 --> 00:18:53.677
to ride in peace,
00:18:53.827 --> 00:18:55.865
and to be unseen,
because I was ashamed,
00:18:56.029 --> 00:18:57.354
if I did this, or that.
00:18:58.080 --> 00:18:59.451
If a trick didn't work out.
00:18:59.651 --> 00:19:02.198
Or when I fell, I looked everywhere,
to see if someone saw me.
00:19:03.949 --> 00:19:07.187
So the first time I went there
was very shocking.
00:19:10.192 --> 00:19:12.346
On weekend,
I went to the ramps
00:19:12.516 --> 00:19:14.995
from 8 am to 5 pm,
00:19:15.504 --> 00:19:18.384
and I went at 8 am,
because no one was there so early.
00:19:18.831 --> 00:19:20.438
I rode alone.
00:19:21.101 --> 00:19:23.066
Because later the park was
full of people.
00:19:23.423 --> 00:19:24.925
And that's when
the pros arrived.
00:19:25.090 --> 00:19:27.132
So then I stopped riding
and sat to watch.
00:19:28.018 --> 00:19:32.421
Until one person came
and told me:
00:19:32.802 --> 00:19:34.614
'Come and ride with us.
00:19:34.769 --> 00:19:36.052
'We'll teach you'.
00:19:36.296 --> 00:19:38.058
And they began to help me.
00:19:38.403 --> 00:19:42.217
When I started riding
I didn't have a helmet or gloves.
00:19:42.662 --> 00:19:45.636
I remember that Papo
gave me my first pair of gloves.
00:19:46.313 --> 00:19:47.887
He told me: 'Here',
and he gave them to me,
00:19:47.997 --> 00:19:51.822
and I was like:
'Oh! He gave me a pair of gloves!'
00:19:52.047 --> 00:19:55.721
It was awesome,
for a kid 13 years old,
00:19:55.991 --> 00:19:58.792
to receive a gift out of the blue.
It's not so common.
00:20:13.312 --> 00:20:15.194
The tournaments
I cherish the most
00:20:15.555 --> 00:20:18.151
of those in which that I have won,
or I have taken part,
00:20:18.488 --> 00:20:21.348
are the ones in Argentina,
which are very important,
00:20:21.893 --> 00:20:25.187
the ones in Punta Arenas,
the Austral Contest,
00:20:25.326 --> 00:20:26.848
and the Latinoamericano,
00:20:27.263 --> 00:20:29.992
the Yogu Yogu
were excellent contests as well,
00:20:30.183 --> 00:20:33.638
I won the second place
in the latest edition.
00:20:33.847 --> 00:20:36.402
The ones at the Parque Araucano
are also great,
00:20:36.437 --> 00:20:39.268
I'm local there,
so I like them very much,
00:20:40.060 --> 00:20:43.375
and recently,
the Rec on Tour,
00:20:43.555 --> 00:20:47.544
in the USA, I finished on 12th place,
out of more than 20 contestants.
00:20:51.193 --> 00:20:52.893
I arrived to Woodward
00:20:53.148 --> 00:20:55.431
and every day I looked out
through the window and said:
00:20:55.525 --> 00:20:57.166
'I can't believe I'm here!'
00:20:57.565 --> 00:20:59.923
The next day, I looked outside,
and it was the same.
00:21:00.193 --> 00:21:03.687
Only the third day
I could believe that I was there.
00:21:03.912 --> 00:21:05.533
It's everyone's dream
00:21:05.733 --> 00:21:09.325
since they start riding
a bike or skate, or anything.
00:21:09.620 --> 00:21:12.070
And after being a month there,
00:21:12.223 --> 00:21:14.238
I stayed for another month
at Ben Snowden's place,
00:21:14.277 --> 00:21:15.733
who was friends with Coco.
00:21:15.769 --> 00:21:18.354
And those experiences
00:21:18.989 --> 00:21:20.841
helped me to grow
as a person.
00:21:20.986 --> 00:21:22.727
Because then I decided
if I ate or not,
00:21:23.037 --> 00:21:25.175
If I had money
to travel to certain tournaments...
00:21:25.435 --> 00:21:27.672
I chose to save some money,
00:21:27.962 --> 00:21:29.574
and I knew many new parks.
00:21:29.840 --> 00:21:31.530
And I wanted to ride,
00:21:31.611 --> 00:21:34.343
so I went to bed at 11 pm,
00:21:34.493 --> 00:21:37.669
and the next day I was already riding
in a park at 8 am, with the sun on my back,
00:21:38.037 --> 00:21:40.033
with 95F.
00:21:40.269 --> 00:21:43.818
Why? Because I knew that I was never going
to be able to do this in Chile.
00:21:43.853 --> 00:21:45.487
So I wanted to get
the most out of it.
00:21:46.298 --> 00:21:48.720
We went to present
some exhibitions
00:21:49.350 --> 00:21:53.414
to Argentina,
Cordoba, to be exact,
00:21:53.569 --> 00:21:56.144
there were about 4,000 people
00:21:56.958 --> 00:21:59.157
watching our show.
00:22:00.836 --> 00:22:04.876
And then I noticed that
it was possible to live from BMX.
00:22:04.923 --> 00:22:07.381
Here in Chile is very difficult,
but it's possible.
00:22:07.416 --> 00:22:09.607
It's been hard.
I took me nine years.
00:22:09.878 --> 00:22:11.394
But it's possible.
00:22:16.682 --> 00:22:19.977
Imagine:
Mankind,
00:22:20.312 --> 00:22:24.027
since it has been mankind,
has always wanted to fly without wings.
00:22:24.466 --> 00:22:27.194
Do you get it?
I can do that while riding my bike.
00:22:27.400 --> 00:22:30.072
Imagine to be 2, 3 seconds
floating on air,
00:22:30.452 --> 00:22:33.215
and everyone looks this small.
Hahaha, they actually look bigger, but...
00:22:33.604 --> 00:22:36.040
You can look at them
while you're flying.
00:22:36.251 --> 00:22:39.537
You feel free,
you're like inside a bubble.
